When you Have Itchy and Sore Bits" Guide
Often, the onset of symptoms can occur after a stress or trauma of some kind. I use a multi-faceted approach addressing possible trauma, hormone issues, toxicity, diet, emotional and physical symptoms to bring about lasting results. Sometimes, such as in my case, something like having a baby or doing your school exams can trigger symptoms to start.

Lichen Sclerosus can be insanely itchy especially at night making sleep difficult. It can cause tearing and burning, not just very painful but affecting intimate relationships with our partners. Fusing and loss of architecture can be alarming and make us feel less of a person. And the thought of it being a potentially pre-cancerous condition adds to the stress of having this condition.
Thyroid issues can affect Lichen Sclerosus (certainly in my own case) alongside issues such as weight gain, insane fatigue, joint and muscle pain, hair loss and constipation. And don't even get me started on the pain, bloating, blood loss and diarrhea of Crohns disease!
I have been diagnosed over my life with Crohnes disease, Hashimotos thyroiditis and Lichen Sclerosus. So I understand how utterly painful, exhausting and rubbish those illnesses are and how life changing they can be.
I am in remission from Crohnes disease and Lichen Sclerosus by using homeopathy, and my thyroid levels are stable with the use of NDT and homeopathy.
I was diagnosed with Crohns disease at 16 after my GCSE's and Hashimotos at 26. I suffered from 'itchy bits' through most of my 20's treated as thrush. My itching really ramped up after the birth of my second child and after a biopsy I was diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosus, That also coincided with my thyroid levels being unstable and my Crohnes flaring. I realised I had a Crohns flare up after any period of prolonged stress - A Levels, Degree, relationship breakups etc.
I was studying homeopathy at the time, so saw my homeopath who prescribed remedies to support my thyroid, address my diarrhea and bleeding and the itching as well as stress related to perfectionism. I believe the hormone changes post partum and the stress of a new baby and a toddler, affected my endocrine system triggering my Hashimotos to become unstable which increased the itch and burning of Lichen Sclerosus.
I now know that if I manage my own stress levels I can avoid flares of my symptoms.
I love working with women and children to help them get lasting relief from the symptoms of Lichen Sclerosis, Crohns disease, Thyroid issues and other autoimmune diseases.
